A veteran cabaret artist, Barry has been a leading musical figure in the San Francisco Bay Area for the past 25 years as coach/accompanist to such cabaret stars as Ruth Hastings, Sharon McNight, Nancy LaMott, Michael Greer, Raquel Bitton, Charles Pierce, and many others. He was also private accompanist to Miss Mary Martin during her residence in San Francisco. Mr. Lloyd is a graduate of both the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and the American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.). Known primarily as a pianist/accompanist, Mr. Lloyd is also an accomplished actor, singer, arranger and composer and well respected coach, teaching both privately and at American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T) in San Francisco.
