Lee Lessack

Lee Lessack, a celebrated cabaret and recording artist who appears regularly in clubs across the country and abroad, has just released his fourth CD, "Too Marvelous For Words: The Songs Of Johnny Mercer" (LML Music). Recorded live at Hollywood's famed Cinegrill, the CD features musical arrangements by award winning composer John Boswell.

This year Lessack will be starring in a 50-city national concert tour of "An Enchanted Evening: The Music of Broadway", a musical tribute spanning more than six decades of the best of Broadway. In addition to his starring role in this Broadway retrospective featuring music from Rodgers and Hammerstein to Andrew Lloyd Webber, Lessack is also credited as the co-author and producer. Lee's other musical theatre credits include leading roles in Grease, Sweeney Todd, Fiddler On The Roof, Godspell, Oklahoma, H.M.S. Pinafore and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. In addition, Lee appeared as a special guest artist in Heartstrings: The National Tour.

Lee recently made his London concert debut with a sold-out engagement at the Jermyn Street Theatre. For the past several years, Lee has been featured in the Mabel Mercer Foundation's annual Cabaret Convention at Town Hall in New York, as well as in the Convention's West Coast event in San Francisco. In addition to his numerous club appearances on land, Lee has also delighted audiences as a featured guest vocalist on cruise ships all over the world.

No stranger to the recording studio, this singer/producer's virtuoso performance of the haunting, "Jonathan Wesley Oliver, Jr.," is featured on the best-selling compilation album, "A Love Worth Fighting For" (Streeter Records). Other recordings include Lessack's self-titled debut solo album, which has received rave reviews from critics across the country, his GLAMA Award winning, "I Know You By Heart", and the cast recording of "An Enchanted Evening: The Music of Broadway".

In 1995 Lee created LML Music an independent record label that now features over twenty-five cabaret, Broadway and jazz vocalists as well as concert and cast recordings.
